What you are getting yourself into:

I do group coaching programs that are interactive and done weekly to be in community while healing.

Nervous System Mastery is my signature program that helps you rise from the ashes of developmental trauma and find freedom. The program is a total of 10 weeks. It’s a series of educational workshops of 2 hours each.

Nervous System Mastery has been UPGRADED but there is no current LIVE round of the program happening at the moment. Sign up to the Newsletter on the site’s homepage to get notified of the next round of enrolment.

You deserve to feel safe in your body and in the world. This program helps you get there.

Week 1 to 3: Nervous System Health

The first weeks of the program will be dedicated to understanding what the autonomic nervous system is, how it works and why you need to know about yours and the one of the people you love. I can’t wait for you to find out that your world will never be the same (in a real good way) after you learn this info.

EmilyAube_0161.jpg

Week 1 is titled the ins and outs of the autonomic nervous system.

You’ll learn about:

  • Your autonomic nervous system - what it does, how it works and how it interconnects with other systems in your body like your digestive, endocrine and cardiovascular system, and why it is important.

  • The three different branches of your ANS in detail.

  • Nervous system regulation and nervous system system dysregulation. Demystifying it: how they both occur and what they both look like as an experience.

  • Intergenerational trauma and how we pass on stuff through linages (it’s to do with our parasympathetic ventral vagal branch not being fully developed at birth. This education is so cool!)

  • The window of tolerance.

  • Stressors and triggers and what they do to our physiology when we experience them.

  • The 4 different stress responses as mammalian humans.

  • The impacts of chronic stress.

EmilyAube_0415.jpg

Week 2 + Week 3 will be about the holistic approach to nervous system health.

In our week 2 class, we will be covering…

  • Understanding what trauma is and how trauma + emergency energy works (too much, too soon, too fast)

  • Somatic consent: how to find the right pace for you + creating the right conditions for your unique nervous system

  • What is functional freeze and how to begin to “unthaw”

  • Interoception (how to tell what you need and what’s going on in your body// tracking your impulses + cues)

  • How to work with stress responses in real time. How to use movement to discharge fight and flight energy when you experience a stressor or trigger. This is to do instead of having the stress response get stuck in your joints and diaphragms and muscles. Keep in mind that this teaching material is highly accessible to consider people with physical limitations as there are options to every movement for different levels of ability. Please inquire with me directly if you have concerns about being able to participate in the exercises suggested and I’ll gladly answer those questions.

  • The best neurological support/ repair food.

EmilyAube_0481.jpg

During week 3, you’ll learn about…

  • The physiology of flooding and dissociation and how to track it to come back to window of tolerance when you’ve left (the great thing is you can always come back to window of tolerance no matter how many times you leave!)

  • Embodiment exercises to stimulate and resource parasympathetic waves in your body such as breath work, motor skill exercises, orientation, curiosity in movement, and much more.

  • Ideas for stimming toys and soothing tools + non-toxic personal care & home goods (yes, there will be an entire PDF with all resources linked).

  • How to curate a home environment that contains glimmers for your specific nervous system through your senses (glimmers are the opposite of triggers).

Week 4 to 7: understanding your greatest unmet needs and resourcing.

EmilyAube_0281.jpg

Over the 9+ years that I’ve been working with people, I’ve noticed that there are ten core needs that often fail to be met when someone has suffered developmental trauma. This month, we will get to know these 10 core needs in detail and see if you’ve had a hyper or hypo response to not having your need(s) met. After having awareness about your unmet or inconsistently met needs you’ll have the awareness needed to no longer be prone to narcissistic- like peeps and their schemes that leave you feeling even more depleted.

We will focus on sustainable internal and external resourcing, so that you can finally have what was supposed to happen - your needs met. When your needs are met, your body will naturally come out of stress responses it has been in. Not having our needs met is alarming to our system since it keeps us in perpetual alert mode.

Week 4 will feature…

  • An in depth of the vagus nerve and how to use voice to regulate our nervous system

  • The polyvagal theory : understanding mobilization + immobilization + social engagement

  • An understanding of what happens when our needs aren’t met (we leave social engagement to go into mobilization and then immobilization if we couldn’t meet the need)

  • An intro to the two ways to meet our needs with resourcing

  • Getting to know the 10 greatest needs in development

Week 5 - Identifying your hyper and hypo responses to stressors.

  • The narcissist portal and why you are more susceptible to narcissistic dysfunction when your needs aren’t met well.

  • Identifying your hyper and hypo responses to stressors in order to start resourcing effectively in the following two weeks

Week 6 - Back into the window of tolerance with internal resourcing.

  • You will learn and adopt internal resourcing tools that speaks to you (ex: adrenal dropping, icing the vagus nerve, specific kinds of journaling) to use to meet your under resourced needs so that you can come back to social engagement and come out of mobilization + immobilization.

  • There will be an epic worksheet involved.

Week 7 - Back into the window of tolerance with external resourcing.

  • You will learn and adopt external resourcing tools that speak to you (ex: nature, creating something), to use to meet your under resourced needs.

  • You’ll learn how to titrate away from resources that aren’t sustainable and titrate into external resources that are sustainable. How to swap unproductive Netflix binging or addictive serial dating to something more fulfilling.

Week 8 to 10: Self-regulation, co-regulation and attachment styles.

1D0E54DC-EA0C-434C-86BA-3ED46E7E746A.jpeg

In the last weeks of the program, we will focus on identifying your primary attachment style. I’ll give you strategies on how to understand what protest behavior you use and how to modify your response by effectively communicating your needs if you’re anxious, and I’ll help you set a plan in place on how to cope with the waves of avoidance if you identify as avoidant.

Our workshops at this point will centre on boundaries, and the way that two (or more) nervous systems interact - for the better or worse. We’ll go over the science of self-regulation + co-regulation, and I’ll suggest do-able safe and healthy ways to implement both.

During week 8, we’ll be focusing on:

  • Attraction science (how our attractions work and how we can change them if we are attracted to dysfunction)

  • The 3 main attachment styles and identifying your current main one

  • How relate in a SECURE attachment style with the people you love

  • What co-regulation is

  • How to spot and untangle from co-dependence

  • Your health blueprint

EmilyAube_0448.jpg

In week 9, we’ll be focusing on:

  • The 4 different kinds of boundaries (physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual)

  • How to build a sense of sense post developmental trauma or autistic masking using boundaries (which includes having limits and preferences)

We’ll end our program on week 10 with…

  • Effective communication and how to inform others of your boundaries and preferences

  • A recap of the course

In the end?

My wish for you is that you’ll walk away from the course feeling really understood, validated and ready to dive deeper into your healing now that you understand your nervous system, how to meet your needs, how to be with yourself and others in a way that feels good, and what kind of boundaries you need to implement in your life for your sense of self to be intact.

You should definitely sign up if:

  • You consider yourself highly sensitive, you have sensory processing disorder, or you know you’re on the autism spectrum, making you neurodivergent like me!

  • You are interested in helping your anxiety decrease holistically through things like food, movement, environment, and safe secure relationship building. I don’t believe in pharmaceuticals as a long term solution for stress management and I am really passionate about giving people alternative tools.

  • You are someone who has chronic illness and eat perfectly and do ‘all the things’ but still find yourself plateauing or feeling stuck and suffering health wise.

  • You have had a history of romantic relationship woes - either having been in abusive or narcissistic relationships before, or having lived significant betrayal such as cheating, lying, etc.

  • You’re having a hard time finding and maintaining friendship where you can connect in depth - often resulting in isolation and chronic loneliness.

  • You want to learn about healing your attachment trauma by identifying your attachment styles clearly and understand how to relate in more secure ways.

  • You are in need of more boundaries that feel like a good middle ground. Somewhere between wall of china level and complete door mat level.

  • You’re interested in learning about how your nervous system works from a biological standpoint and how to regulate after activation.

  • You are someone who has been following me on social media for a while and you love the content, and are ready for more.

  • You are willing and are able to invest financially in your healing at this time. I don’t believe one should go into debt or get stressed out by spending money if it’s not currently do-able.

  • You have your own business in which you work with clients as a practitioner of some kind and you want to learn this trauma-aware info.

  • You are a mom who wants to foster excellent nervous system health in your children.

This isn’t for you if:

  • You are someone who wants a therapeutic setting. This course is for educational and informational purposes only.

  • You are someone with an ongoing mental health issue that is not being treated by a licensed psychotherapist and that doesn’t feel manageable in your day to day life.

  • You are someone who doesn’t want to “work the work” and apply the exercises consistently to see changes because honestly? You want a quick fix or someone else to do it for you right now.

  • You are someone who is disrespectful or judgmental about other people’s race, sexual orientation or gender identity if they are not the same as yours. I have a zero tolerance policy for things like: homophobia, transphobia, racism.

Why I care about this work…

I am on the spectrum, which means I am hyper sensitive to the world, thus my nervous system can get dysregulated very easily, so this work is what I use on a daily basis myself to make my existence tolerable and dare I say, pleasurable too. The fact that I am autistic also means that I love helping and that I enjoy making complex information super easy to understand, especially about topics I find myself fascinated with, and this is what I’ve done with this course.

Over the course of my childhood and adolescence, I accumulated developmental trauma , which consequently led to several chronic illness issues because I was living in sympathetic dominance. I felt like I got to adulthood a big banged up without having the key to life like my peers seemed to have.

Once I understood how to claim my nervous system health because of this education I teach in NSM, eventually, I felt safe in my body and in the world again after thinking I would never feel that. I also learnt to design a life that works for me (right pace + right conditions for my nervous system) instead of being the only square peg in history that fit in the round hole.

Essentially, working with me in this holistic nervous system health program is a way to learn how to take care of yourself the way you should have always been taken care of. I truly believe you deserve this kind of support.

Word on the street is…

I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Emily’s Master Nervous System course. It’s one of the best investments that I’ve made in a long time. I had a hunch that my nervous system needed a tuning for some time - taking this class only confirmed that. It gave me hope; thoroughly broke down those feelings of being broken or unfixable and explained my coping mechanisms as what my body had to do in order to survive as a child; that there is absolutely nothing wrong with me; and that in fact - my body has an amazing blueprint of health that is always there and that it’s always going back to! Knowing this truth so deeply as I do now is everything.

Emily has an amazing energy, sense of humor and grace that she brings to every individual in her class. She acknowledges the point at which we all are at that brought us together and while everyone is from a different walk of life, she integrates the group seamlessly. To my knowledge there is no one out there serving this area of health - thank GOD for Emily!!! Take the class!!!
— Patricia Adamo

I have been living a holistic lifestyle for about 5 years now, I have healed about 80% of my chronic illness through healing foods and supplements, yet there was something missing. I knew that I needed to learn how to support and heal my nervous system but WOW, this course was SO much more! Emily has the most comforting way of holding space for you! She provides a calm, unconditional support and meets you right where you are. While also cheering you on like a life long friend, genuinely excited about every single victory no matter how small. Her course covers all angles that you should incorporate in order to create optimal health in your life! Including healing foods, supplements, understanding childhood needs that were unmet and how it affects you as an adult, the importance of boundaries and how to create them, a variety of resourcing exercises that you can use to regulate your nervous system in the midst of any situation, and so so much more! It’s like she hands you the most brilliant toolset that will help you not only heal your wounds and eliminate so many symptoms in the process, but you also now know how to handle anything that comes your way! I truly transformed from powerless to powerful with so much hope and excitement for life!

I am not only incredibly thankful but my family is also so appreciative for you bringing me back to life! Thank you thank you Emily!
— Monique Hessler

It’s hard to find words to try to describe my experience working with Emily. It is one of the most profoundly life changing experiences I’ve ever had. She helped me find the areas of myself that were buried away & needed nurturing, light, & simple regulation. The space she holds for you to walk through this delicate door is so loving, calming, & reassuring. She has walked these roads herself & that is evident in her perfect mix of empathy & empowering knowledge. Simply put, after our sessions, I feel life is just beginning for me. There’s a new filter on life and it is like fresh air. Every time I feel a little bit of my power coming back, I smile knowing this is truly transforming me.

If you’re thinking of working with Emily, do it. If you’re being called to join her class, there’s a reason for that. Perhaps she is connected to this life force that wishes to see us all well & thriving. The work is magic & it will change your everyday life forever.

First of all, i love how relatable Emily is. She brings humor, self acceptance and self expression to the table as well as so much knowledge and wisdom!

I’m so glad to have this course for life. To continue healing my nervous system, one layer at at a time. I was blown away by the science of it all. I understand myself on a deeper level. I see my habits and have made some pretty powerful shifts. I feel more in control of how I feel and what to do about it.

Emily is an amazing teacher and overall cool person to learn from. I feel like I have permission to be myself and have all my needs met. The beautiful take away is how much internal resourcing is actually available to us. Im obsessed with my new tools. This course serves as a foundational healing to build your life upon.
— Amberly Hollingshead

Emily’s NS Mastery Program fundamentally changed my life. Her work was the answer I had been waiting for. As someone who has “done the work,” changing diet, seeing therapists, reading self-help books, seeking out resources... but still could not get on top of mental and physical health... her work with somatic experiencing was the missing piece.

Emily creates a space of love and laughter while breaking down big concepts into integrative practices. She has shown me that my struggles with mental health are not personality flaws but rather unresourced needs... she shows you what’s missing and gives you real, sustainable tools to help yourself.

I want to recommend Emily to everybody. Her teachings are THAT important and will change how you view your healing process. I have endless respect and admiration for her work and if you take her class, I promise you won’t regret it.
— Kathryn Martin

Working with Emily has been hands down the best decision I have ever made! I highly recommend this program to anyone that may be struggling with their health or would just love to have more tools to better their wellness, especially in regards to healing trauma. Emily as a guide is amazing, she is the most non-judgmental and authentic person, she really has her arms wide open to help keep you safe and secure as a teacher and as a true friend. I trust her more than I do some of the closest people to me! Not only that but I got to connect with a group of women that are so incredible in their own ways and I really feel I’ve made friends for life!
— Priya Panditi
If you’re anything like me, you probably feel as though you’re running around in circles stuck in old habits and feelings, yet you really want that happy healthy life you dream of. You probably want to stop feeling so easily overwhelmed and overworked and find a middle ground.

If so... Well let me tell you this class is for you, don’t think about it, do it!

This Nervous System Health Mastery program has been so wonderful to teach me why I react and act the way I do, and how developmental trauma is still influencing everything that I do or feel. It’s taught me that once you know your triggers, your unmet needs and how to resource those - you can heal your past and be in charge of your future. What I loved most about this class was to learn, to share experiences and heal in community. Emily was a really great teacher and answered all of our questions with so much wisdom and compassion. I’ve learned so so much and will keep this experience forever in my heart.
— Lisa Seilkopf

I knew I had past trauma that I needed to heal but could not find a place to start. After reading countless articles online telling me that it is crucial to heal developmental trauma and why it’s important, I was still at square one, not knowing how to begin. Nervous System Health Mastery finally gave me the foundation I was looking for and showed me where to start. Not only that, but the class gave me a comprehensive overview of what areas in my development were most neglected so that I know exactly where to continue to work on healing the most. Emily is a great instructor and was accessible, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I am so glad I took her course!
— Kaylin Reilly
I was lucky enough to secure a spot in Emily’s Nervous System Mastery program this summer. (I struggled with the cost at first, and when I priced it out over 10 weeks and even compared it to other programs I’ve done in the past, this is actually a very fair price. Also, there is the option to do payments).
I learned SO much about the physical nervous system itself but also I connected so many dots. Emily has a wonderful way of bringing the information to us. She is clear and passionate and funny and genuinely cares. She was patient and supportive, encouraging us to take the time and space we needed to work with the info she was bringing forth.
The group of women who I shared this experience with were such a big part of what kept me coming back every week. I hope that we can stay connected and yes, make that retreat happen!!
I was able to identify and work with some core unmet needs. SO HUGE. Had a lot of compassion for myself and the things my little self has dealt with. And! what was a bonus was having a one on one session with Emily during the program.
Overall, I highly recommend doing any kind of work with Emily, but if you can take this course, do it.
— Ana Gundzik
The container of safety, compassion and understanding that Emily brought to her Nervous System Mastery Class allowed me to take a deep dive into my developmental wounding that SO needed my nurturing and attention! I’m not sure if there is anyone out there right now putting together the pieces of Nervous System health the way Emily is!

Emily has been on her own path of healing and she is truly becoming an expert in Nervous System work. But beyond becoming an expert, she is paving her own path of NS and SE healing information! She is able to powerfully and masterly bring together attachment theory, relationship theory, leading edge physical healing information (thanks to her own work with Medical Medium), and a powerful and revolutionary understanding of developmental wounding and trauma theory.

I absolutely loved being in our group of 10 women for this NS Mastery Class! The work that Emily guided us through has been the exact catalyst that I needed to finally make real momentum toward healing my own developmental trauma! I will forever be SO very grateful to you Emily for bringing forth this work!!
— Saira Arnold

Emily’s nervous system mastery class was a missing piece I needed in my healing journey. Learning this information has been invaluable and gave me so much perspective of myself and those around me. I am so glad to have this awareness to help my children with their nervous systems at a young age and to be able to heal myself to end the cycle of ancestral trauma. Emily attracts the most amazing womxn and I have loved getting to know our group and the conversations we’ve had. She creates such a safe supportive space where everyone felt comfortable being vulnerable and sharing. I will truly miss our weekly calls and am so grateful for this experience.
